Session 1 – Sharing scientific knowledge to encourage transition action

During this session, we will discuss the role of scientific research in crafting narrative frameworks that make climate information accessible and inspire stories to drive change toward limiting climate risks. Our focus will be on examining the scientists’ responsibility in knowledge-sharing, the relationships that researchers maintain with actors of the ecological transition, and ways of combating misinformation.

Session 2 – Transforming economic models to contribute to sober and collaborative development

In this session, we will explore how companies and communities, as territorial actors, can implement the necessary ecological changes in different contexts.
We will examine their feedback to establish shared visions and implement changes toward resilient, low-carbon development. Specifically, we will explore collaborative approaches that demonstrate the feasibility of transitions, and the collective dynamics they can bring.

Session 3 – Accelerating the development of media skills on climate issues in order to stimulate new collective narratives

In this last session, we will discuss how media and communication professionals play a crucial role in promoting knowledge-sharing, facilitating dialogue for just transitions, and crafting inspiring narratives that make the ecological transition desirable for everyone.
We will ask ourselves what are the levers needed to build new editorial lines that bridge the gap between climate news monitoring and climate action, taking into account the consumerist mindset perpetuated by advertising. Additionally, we will examine how communication and marketing tools can foster new perspectives that prioritize sober development approach, collaboration, and transformations.
