Organized in the framework of the annual event International Weather and Climate Forum, the Media Workshop gathers TV weather presenters – meteorologists and representatives of European and International organisations with the aim to focus on new strategies and tools to strengthen communication on climate issues with the public and decision-makers. This year, the Media Workshop has chosen the date of 21st of June in order to be more involved in the international climate change awareness campaign “Warming Stripes” initiated by the climatologist Ed Hawkins.
